Savers, Oh How I Love Thee So!

So, this summer, I have been inspired to thrift more (thank you random blogs!). I have always liked Savers, (my friend and I have Savers dates frequently, haha) but I have never bought much from there. I would get a couple things here and there, but I mostly would just walk around in disgust. A few weeks ago, though, I went to Savers determined to increase my thrifted wardrobe. Normally I would just get an armload of things to try on, but this trip, my cart was overflowing! Granted, of the large number of things I tried on, I only got a few. But they are all peices that I fell in love with. The thing about stores like Savers is you never know what you might find. In my opinion, if it looks like it would fit, and you think it has potential, try it on. You might be surprised!

Here are the things I got a few weeks ago. (Did you know that Mondays at Savers are customer appreciation day, so everything is 25% off?!? I found this out recently!)

I decided to jump on the chambray bandwagon. Only cost me $3!

I instantly fell in love with this blazer. It came as a set with a skirt, which was too small, but I liked the blazer so much I was willing to pay the $10 I thought it was going to be. It ended up being $6, so I really didn't care the skirt didn't fit!

I really needed a new LBD (since I cut up my old one to make a skirt, remember?) so I grabbed this on a whim. It is so adorable and flatttering! I don't know how I survived without it! Only $6!

Today, I decided to hit up Savers again, hoping to have similar luck. And I had even BETTER luck than last time! Even though my cart wasn't as full as last time, I ended up buying more and still loving every single thing!

Is it sad that I have a skirt identical to this but in pink? Haha, the difference is, I made the pink one out of an old short dress, and I bought this one already as a skirt. For $6 its ok to have multiples, right?

This tunic is really cute! I love the lace detail on top and how you can take off the tie and add a fun colored belt instead! Great for $6!

These pants are pink, not red, I promise! And they were $3! Now I have colored jeans in all three of my favorite colors! (Purple, pink, and turquoise!)

I loved the colors of this top. And I normally hate animal print, but this isn't a stereotypical animal print, so it's ok! And for $4.50, I didn't even care that it had a small hole in the side. That's why I sew!

Glitter, bows, peep-toe, black flats that I can wear not only to work, but pretty much anywhere? What could be better? Oh, maybe the fact that there were $4!

I sorta have a big-ring fetish. And I have a necklace tht matches this perfectly! Definitely worth $1.50!

I love pearls (especially for $0.75!), so this necklace, that can double as bracelets, was a must!

A thin metalic belt for $1 was definitely a good buy!

I think I have fallen in love with Savers. :) I can't wait to show you some cuper cute outfits I have already started putting together!
Do you thrift? If you do, what have been some of your favorite finds? Leave me a comment or e-mail me a picture! Kaileighbow@gmail.com
