Well here is the first outfit of the day!
I wore this to church a couple weeks ago. At church I help teach and play with the nursery kids (18 months to 3 years old). I was hesitant to actually take on this calling because I really wanted to stay in the Young Women program (12 to 18 year old girls). My plan was to stay in Young Women until I left for school. But being in nursery is definitely second best! Since I'm with kids, crawling on the floor, picking up toys, chasing kids around, I have to be able to move around. This skirt is perfect for that because it is stretchy and comfy. I found the fabric for it on clearance at JoAnn's and fell in love. I was thinking of making a maxi skirt (since they are so in style and every one claims they are so comfortable), but I absolutely HATE them. I don't care how comfortable they are, I think they are unflattering on everyone. So I made this Hi-low, which I love! All the comfort of a maxi skirt without the hideousness! Perfect!
So, here's the next outfit.
I wore this today in Utah. I must say, I don't care that it is cooler in Utah than Arizona, it was flipping HOT this week! But none of the shorts I brought matched any of my un-worn shirts, so I just rolled up these purple pants. (Which are one of my favorite pairs of pants!) I don't know why, but I really like this outfit. But then again, there are very few outfits I wear that I dont like. I think its because it is so simple, but looks more put together than a t-shirt and jeans. Although, I didn't bring any necklaces with me that work with this shirt (because of the tie on it), so I felt slightly under dressed. But it was great for just running around Utah.
