I Need Boy Advice

So there may be a boy I have a crush on. Ok, so there is most definitely a boy I have a crush on. Boy might just happen to be one of my really good friends up here at the Y. And, with my past experience with liking boys, things tend not to end well.

I get super jealous really easily. (And not just about boys. One of my best friends could be hanging out with someone else, and I would get jealous. It's bad.) And when my group of friends contains of three times as many girls as boys, I tend to feel jealous a lot. Just tonight, I got jealous at Tunnel Singing because Boy was not standing next to me. In fact, he moved from standing next to me. (And anyone reading this who was at tunnel singing with me now knows who this boy is. But, then again, they probably knew before....)

When I am sitting in my room, I look at myself and know I am really beautiful, and I feel confident. Then I go out in the world, with all of my gorgeous friends, and think "How could he ever like me when all these other girls are around?" Don't get me wrong, I do not by any means think I am ugly or anything, I just feel like I can't compare to those around me. So complements mean the world to me. A simple "You look cute today!" or "I love your shoes!" can make my whole day. I definitely want everyone to like me.

Ok, so enough ranting. I need advice. Boy advice. So hopefully there are boys reading this so they can give me advice, because girl's boy advice tends not to be so helpful. :P

Should I tell Boy that I like him? Should I drop hints or just flat out say it? Or should I just forget about him because he is a Pre-Mi anyway? Most advice I get is to tell him, because boys are oblivious. So, boys, if your really good friend had a crush on you, would you want her to tell you, or would that just make things awkward? (and I tend to be awkward anyways...)

My sophomore year, I had a crush on my best guy friend. Somehow he found out (probably because I acted really wierd around him.) Once he found out, things just became super awkward. It wasn't fun to be around him anymore. Even after I stopped liking him, things were never quite the same.

I am worried that this will happen again. I would much rather just be friends with Boy than make things really awkward between us. But, what if there is some slight chance that he aybe, might, possibly like me back? This is why I'm confused and need your help!!!! Gah! Or maybe I should just buy a bunch of cats and live my life with them. (Please don't say that, because I don't like cats....)

So, please help me. (I know this is a boring blog post with no pictures or anything, so if you made it this far, congrats! Give yourself a pat on the back. And give me advice. And follow my blog. And take me to Disneyland. Thanks!)

Youtube Tuesday and Stuff

Well today was a...day. Just a day. I realised half way to my first class that I had forgotten my phone, and new I wouldn't be going  back to my dorm room until way later in the afternoon, so I turned around and went back and got it. So, I ended up being late to class for the first time ever. (I was only like one minute late). Then I went to Forum to meet up with my friends...who weren't there. And they wouldn't answer my texts. Luckily I did find a few friends to sit with, but they were just as confused as to where everyone was. So, instead of going to lunch with all of my plans, like I had thought, I went back and got a sandwich from the vending machine in my lobby. It looked super scrumptious, but tasted gross. Then, after my next class, I had a meeting with my English teacher, but didn't write down her office number, so I basically wandered around the building for 20 minutes until I finally found her. Then, I had to take a test. It was my first test in the testing center. That didn't go as well as I thought it would. At least I got to meet up with some friends for dinner, and I went and bought a bunch of snacks (and by a bunch, I mean Salsa Verde Doritos, Poptarts, and Granola Bars). Yeah, not a very exciting day, to say the least...

So, to make up for the awesomeness my day lacked, here is this weeks video!

I hope the rest of the week is better than today. But with three classes and then work tomorrow, I'm guessing not....

Life Update (And an Outfit! Finally!)

So should I start out with my outfit, or my life update? I will do the outfit first, because I know that's my favorite part of other blogs and I just skip all the life crap. :P

Here is what I wore today to Regional Stake Conference:

I just now realized how totes awk these pictures are. (By the way, I don't really say things like totes awk.... Just in case you thought I was weird or something...)

I was pretty awkward to take these pictures though. I set my camera up on a fire hydrant. And there was a girl sitting behind me. And people kept walking by. Yeah, totes awk.

So as for my life, this week has been pretty good. I will tell a few stories.
1- On Thursday after Ward Prayer, a group of us were hanging out, and one of the guys wanted to do the cinnamon challenge. So we all walked all the way to the creamery on ninth just so he could buy himself some cinnamon. It was pretty hilarious to see all the passers-by faces as they saw him freaking out and us just standing there laughing hysterically.

2- On Friday night I went to my cousin's house for dinner. It is scary how badly you miss home-cooked meals in college. It was so good! Then I watched Inception. It was my first time seeing it. Not all it was cracked up to be, but still pretty good. (Oh and if anyone tells you you can't walk in in the middle of Inception and know what's going on, I totally could.)

3- Last night was the rivalry football game between BYU and the Utes. A groups of girls and I headed over to District 9 (Building 9, which is a really nice boy's dorm.) to watch the game. Basically that meant talking until the last quarter of the gmae when it finnally became interesting. By the way, it is ok to storm the field when the game is over, not in the middle of a play. *coughstupidutescough* It was a super intense game. Even though we lost. :(

Oh and we had Room Checks of Thursday, so I took advantage of my room being clean and took pictures to share with you! :)

I do love my little dorm room. It surprisingly never really feels small. Its perfect. :)

Well, college is great. I love it. You should all try it sometime. :)

What I'm Wearing:
Shirt: Savers
Skirt: Romy
Scarf: Off a dress from JunieBlake
Shoes: Charlotte Russe

Youtube Tuesday And Some Irony

Isn't it ironic that yesterday I changed from ballet flats into heels because they flats were hurting me, but the heels weren't? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? Haha, well my flats were pretty new, and they gave me blisters, but my heels were boots, so they didn't rub against the blisters. I also may have had another reason to be wearing heels... ;) But that is a story for another day!

My videos today are all completely random, but they are probably the three videos that make me laugh the hardest. And my friends too! I hope you enjoy them as much as me. :)

If you don't get nightmares from the last one, then you are seriously messed up! haha! I seriously crack up every single time I watch these videos. Every. Single. Time.

A Superb Sunday

Today was great! I generally love Sunday's and today was no exception. The lessons at church were fantastic, and then there was a CES Fireside with Jeffery R Holland, and he is probably one of the best speakers in the world! I absolutely LOVED his talk! If you didn't get a chance to listen to it, do it NOW!! (Click Here)

I know this isn't a long post, I just really wanted to let you know about my day. :)

Oh, and if you haven't heard on the news, there are a bunch of students here at the Y trying to get BYU to sell caffinated soda. I definitely wouldn't mind that, since I'm kinda in a relationship with Dr. Pepper. ;)

I promise, I will try to do more outfits posts since this is a fashion blog. I just cant find time to take pictures NOT in my dorm room. I will be on the look-out for some awesome spots. Let me know if you know of any! :)

I'm Tired and I Cut Off My Finger.

What is it about being in college that makes me feel tired ALL THE TIME? I could get a perfect 8 hours of sleep, and still be yawning all day. What's up with that?
Speaking of sleeping, I want to share a story with you. Last night, I was getting ready for bed. My roommate was already asleep, and she can sleep through anything. Like, I'm talking a full on marching band could be in our room, and she would sleep through it. It's pretty nice, because I tend to stay up later than she does. So, last night, I was all ready for bed and was reaching for the light when my roommate sits up and stares at me. I say, "Oh, sorry, I'm just turning off the light now." She just looks at me and says, "Ok." I ask her, "Are you really awake or are you half asleep?" She replies, "I am fully awake." I say, "Ok, well good night," and she plops down onto her pillow, completely asleep. Kinda wierd. So, I get into bed, and about 20 minutes later I hear my roommate say, "I like puppies and soft kittens." I just start giggling, because she has never said anything in her sleep before this. About 30 minutes later, she says, "Hey, there's Tyler." At this point I am half asleep and I start freaking out thinking Tyler was actually in our room. He wasn't. Obviously. Today when I told my roommate this story, she thought I was lying to her. Haha!
But I must say, that was probaby the best part of my day. Haha, I honestly just went to class, slept, went to class, slept, went to work, and now here I am typing this blog post.
I didn't actually cut my finger "off", but at work, I was pushing a cart under a table. And there was definitely not enough room between the cart and the table for my hand. But I didn't realise that until my fingers were jammed in there. Only one of my fingers started bleeding, so I guess that's a pretty good thing. But I had to write it in the accident report log.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day, and I will actually have a social life and my package will come from my parents. :)

In case you want to see what a girl who went to two classes, took two naps, and worked for three hours looks like.....

Youtube Tuesday and Other Random Things

Just some random thoughts.
1. My Physics class is super easy.
2. BYU is so much fun.
3. I may or may not be crushing on a guy. I'm not sure yet.
4. Campus at night is both scary and fun.
5. Do not follow me around campus, because I will probably take the long way to a building.
6. I'm surprisingly not homesick. I thought I would be, for sure, but I'm not.
7. One of the best things ever is having a stocked vending machine in the lobby for late night snacks.
8. I need to start using Sensa again.... I keep forgetting!
9. Friends are awesome, even when they don't save enough seats at Devotional.
10. I have "We are never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever...." stuck in my head.
11. I don't like Taylor Swift.
12. Or country music in general.
13. I don't know any other school where a group of student will meet up late at night under a bridge, and NOT drink or smoke or do anything illegal, but sing Hymns.
14. I think I call my mom every day.
15. My favorite number is 5. Just in case you wanted to know.

Well, I have more than one video this week, but they kinda go together. :) Enjoy!
