YouTube Tuesday...of the Future!

So a couple of weeks ago, I found the most amazing thing to ever be on YouTube. EVER.

I found the entirety of episodes of Phil of the Future.

And now I am sharing this love with you.

If this doesn't scream childhood/preteenhood to you, we can no longer be friends.

Ok, we can, but only if you promise to watch them all now.

Besides, Ricky Ullman is gorgeous.

So here is the first episode, but you can find the rest in a playlist on YouTube.

You are welcome, dear readers.

Youtube Tuesday

I'm really tired, so here's a short, sweet post. With the bestest Pixar short EVER.

Seriously, ever.

Here it is...

Paperman!

Watch it. Love it. Go "awwww". Because it is just amazing.

Peace Out.

YouTube Tuesday: Missionary Fun

I have seen a few funny videos of missionaries lately. And since missionaries probably consume 90% of my thoughts now-a-days, I find them extra funny. I mean, when I think of missionaries, I still think of these older guys who are just super serious all the time. I forget that they are my age, and they, too, like to have fun! I think that my friends on missions are completely different people, when in reality, they are the same guys as before they left, they are just living their lives a little differently. These videos help remind me of how awesome and fun missionaries are. :)

I hope you enjoy these as much as me!

Peace out!

Youtube Tuesday!

Ok, well. I am addicted to this song. So listen. And enjoy. Or else.

Also, I wrote my very first, hand-written letter to a missionary. (Unless you count those mutual activities where they made us write missionaries I didn't even know. "Dear Elder Blah-blah-blah, Uhm, so how is wherever it is you are? I hope you are having a grand old time. Sincerely, this girl who is in your ward but you don't even know or care about.) He hasn't even gone to the MTC yet, and I'm writing him already. I have friends that have been out for months that I haven't written. (Sorry, neglected friends....) And from this, I have learned how incredibly sucky I am at writing letters. I have friends that literally write five pages front and back to their missionary friends. I wrote one. One stinkin page. So, if you have any tips, let me know.

Also, last night at FHE, I met a guy in my ward who served his mission in Australia. I told him I was obsessed with Australia. He looked at me like I was crazy and said that after living there for two years, he found the accent annoying. I don't believe it is possible for an Australian accent to be annoying.

If you couldn't tell, I'm doing a lot better.

But still, i would very much like to skip to 2015 now.

First (of many) letters written!

Youtube Tuesday "Facial Disgracial!"

So, on Friday, I went with my friends Haley and Tyler to the Kid History episode 10 premier! It was right here at BYU, and all of the Kid History people were there! We watched a couple of the other episodes, and they talked to us about how it got started and all that jazz. Throughout the whole thing, they showed sneak peeks of episode 10. After a while, it was finally time to show episode 10. And it was soooooo good!! :) I had so much fun! Unfortunately, the line to actually meet the cast afterwards was WAAAAY long, so Haley, Tyler and I left and got food then went and watched Pitch Perfect with some more of our friends.

(By the way, I definitely watched Pitch Perfect 5 times last week....)

So without further ado, Kid History Episode 10!

Isn't it just great? I LOVE it!!!

Well, it is definitely snowing outside, so I am drinking hot chocolate. :) Its especially good since  its dark hot chocolate.
Showing my school pride while drinking hot chocolate! ;)

It's The End of The World as We Know It.... And I Feel Fine

Well, this may be my last post ever. Which would be sad. (To be honest, I really do not believe that the world is ending. I'm just giving the Mayans the benefit of the doubt.)

So, spend your last few minutes listening to these songs about the end of the world. And don't do anything stupid. Because YOLO. (Am I the only one that doesn't understand YOLO? Like, yeah, you only live once, so you shouldn't do something stupid that could kill you. But people use it like "Oh I'm going to jump off this cliff! YOLO!" or "I'm going to take illegal drugs! YOLO" or "I'm going to climb in this great white shark's mouth when my leg is bleeding! YOLO!" Seriously? Why not, "I am going to spend this beautiful day I have been graciously given to help everyone I love! YOLO!" or "I'm going to post some videos about the end of the world on my blog so that everyone can enjoy their last few moments on earth (possibly) listening to some music! YOLO!")

Well, I really hope the world doesn't end. Peace out Suckahs!

What's This?

This morning, (after I woke up late for class,) I looked out my window, and what did I see? (If you just sang "Popcorn Popping on the apricot tree", you get cool points. Lots of them.) White. I saw white stuff all over the ground. I got all giddy and got ready in my most wintry clothes and ran outside. (At this point, by the time I got to class, it would be over... This is my first time EVER EVER EVER missing a class....) But I went all crazy Arizona girl all over that snow. I took pictures, and then my camera died. Then I made snowballs and a snowman! (Ok so he is more like a snow barbie, but still.) I haven't seen snow since I was 8, and that was lame snow. (Ok so this was lame snow too, especially since most of it had already melted...) This has been an exciting day so far! :D

So, I am sure you are wondering how my media fast went. I will tell you day by day how it was.

Sunday:
This was the easiest day, probably because I didn't have a whole lot of time to miss media. I woke up for church with an actual alarm clock and not my phone alarm. That was weird. After church I went to eat lunch at the Cannon Center. When I came back, I took a nap until it was time for ward choir. Then our ward had a fireside. After the fireside was the worst part of Sunday. I had a few hours in between the fireside and tunnel singing, and I wasn't tired, so all I wanted to do was check Facebook and listen to music. Since I couldn't do those, I tried to figure out what else I could do. I ended up coloring a picture. In silence. I figured out how much I listen to music. Listening to music is almost a constant, 24/7 thing for me, so the silence was killing me. Luckily, it didn't last long, and soon I went to tunnel singing. After tunnel singing, I hung out with some friends. We stayed up pretty late talking, so I went straight to bed afterwards without even thinking of media.

Monday:
I woke up and got ready (in silence,) and headed off to my classes. Since I always take hand-written notes, that fact I couldn't use my laptop didn't bother me much. In my sewing class, we usually play music while we sew, but since I was on the media fast, my class didn't play music. After my classes, I was bored. I had done all of my homework on Saturday, before I started the media fast, so I couldn't do homework, and sitting in my room doing something was so boring since I couldn't listen to music. I ended up straightening my hair (which killed a whole hour of time), then I went down to the lobby to hem the skirt I made in my sewing class. I couldn't text my friends to see what time they were going to go to dinner, so I just went at 6:00, and luckily my friends ended up being there. After dinner we had a ward Halloween party, and then I hung out with friends. It wasn't hard to be without media until I had to get ready for bed. I couldn't check my facebook, or my email, or anything.

Tuesday:
I don't know why I was feeling so lazy Tuesday morning. I really just didn't want to get ready for class. When I finally did get ready, I realised I needed to leave for class or I would be late. Since I couldn't check the weather (like I usually do) I didn't know that it was supposed to rain until I got outside and saw the dark clouds. Since I spent so long straightening my hair the day before, I had to go back and get an umbrella, just in case. So I ended up being late for my class, which was cancelled anyways, so it didn't matter. I would have known my class was cancelled, if I could have chacked my email before class. So, since I wasn't in class, I decided I could meet up with my friends for devotional. Too bad I couldn't text them to find out where to meet them. Well I eventually found a friend who called my other friend to have him meet me for devotional. After devotional, and my last class of the day, my friend met me in my lobby so we could hang out and so I wouldn't die of boredom. It was fine until our other friend came, then they started looking at her computer and looking things up on the internet. I just sat there, unable to join in. I then went to dinner and after dinner, I went to work. Here is where my biggest problem with the media fast came. I clocked in and headed over to where the event was (I work for catering) and the doors to the building were locked. I walked all around the building and couldn't find anyone, so I headed back to the Wilk to see if they had finished early. There was only one person there, and she called the people I wass working with to find them. I had to go back to the event venue, only to see they had finished cleaning and all we had to do was go BACK to the Wilk and wash dishes. I had been called in early to work, but didn't get the message since I couldn't use my phone. After work I sat in my room waiting until midnight when I could turn on my phone and computer again.

Overall, the experience wasn't horrible. I learned how much I appreciate having media in my life. I also learned that my friends are pretty supportive and that they care about me.They would go out of their way to make sure I knew when they were going to places, and they helped me out whenever I needed. I must say the hardest part was definitely not listening to music. Since I am almost always listening to music, it was definitely strange to have silence in the background. I also learned that I should probably get a watch, because not knowing what time it is is definitely hard. It was a good experience to learn how truly dependent I am on media, but that it is possible for me to go without it. I would probably never willingly do this again, but if for some reason I have to do it, I know I can survive.

So, before the media fast happened, something pretty spectacular happened. I was walking back from helping my friend with his chemistry lab, when we saw a deer. A flipping deer on campus. Like holy crap! I never see deer in Gilbert! So we stopped and were taking pictures of it. I naturally start singing to it like Giselle in Enchanted. We keep taking pictures and I keep singing when all of the sudden 5 more deer come running out of nowhere! I felt like a Disney princess! :D It was sooo cool!!!

Speaking of Princesses, I started watching Once Upon a Time with my friends last week. It is really as good as everyone said it was. :)

Can I just tell you I love cold and snow? I really do. It was snowing while I walked to my physics class today. It melted almost as soon as it hit the ground, but it was pretty much awesome. But I have realised that I am definitely going to need to buy some winter essentials. My coat that I wore like three times a year in Arizona in the middle of winter in the middle of the night is barely warm enough here in Provo in the fall during the day. I also need to get me some cute gloves and cute beanie hats. And scarves. (I hate scarves, but I can see how they would be nice.)

So, since I missed Youtube Tuesday, I am going to make it up now. Here are some videos.

This is definitely me in the Snow today. :)

1:12 is what I felt like when those deer came running when I sang.

So, I hope you all have had a fantastic week! And I hope you have a fantastic weekend! :)

Youtube Tuesday And Other Stuff. Maybe. If I Can Think Of Anything To Write...

Uhm, I have really know idea what to write about today. Like seriously, no clue what so ever.

So I guess I will just tell you that today, I definitely had a solo dance party. I danced around my room to Disney songs. My window was open and I sang at the top of my lungs.

What do you mean it's not normal for a 19 year old girl to do that?

I guess I'm not normal then... But I think I figured that out a long time ago.

So, I am going to give you all the chance to have a solo dance party to disney music too. Here are some great Disney songs to sing and dance to. (And by dance, I mainly mean act out/interpretive dance).

So, please belt your heart out! Dance like no one is watching. And if somewone is watching, then still dance like no one is watching. That's what life is for. Probably. :)

Youtube Thursday Because I Forgot on Tuesday

So, this past week has been pretty crazy. I have oh so much to say today, so please, bear with me. (Or just skip down to the video, since that's probably the reason you are even reading this.)

Thursday: Honestly, I don't remember anything from Thursday. I do know we had Ward Prayer, and that's always fun! But, yeah, i guess Thursday wasn't crazy or exciting by any means....

Friday: Well, Friday, I had to work the football game. I like working, but Football games are always soooooooo long! I work about 9 hours every home football game. I also got a text from my friends that night saying they had an extra ticket for the Saturday afternoon session of conference and asked if I would like to go with them! (And I said yes, of course!)

Saturday: Ok, here is where it starts getting pretty darn crazy. Saturday was the beginning of General Conference. And Saturday morning, there was a pretty big announcement: Boys are now allowed to go on missions at age 18, and girls are allowed to serve missions at 19. HOLY COW. I went from having two years to think about going on a mission, to a day. This was a hugely huge shock for me. I had always said that if I wasn't married or in a relationship by the time I was old enough to go on a mission, I would think about it. Well, I sure as heck am not married or in any kind of relationship now. This is a big decision to make, and I know it won't happen over night. So my friends and I were in Salt Lake Saturday afternoon. I must say, seeing Conference in person is a whole different experience than watching in on TV. It was awesome! After Conference, we went to the City Creek Mall, which is the most beautiful mall ever, I think. It was so crowded though, so I would love to go back sometime when it is not swarmed with people. When I got back to Provo, my Uncle Casey brought me princess cupcakes for my birthday. I also hung out with some friends and we played Hide and Seek in the Tanner building. On our way back to our dorm (it was past midnight at this point), I would tell everyone I saw that it was my birthday! Then this crazy dude started throwing popcorn at us. He was pretty strange.... :P

Sunday: I woke up, put on my striped onesie pajamas and my tiara (because I was the birthday Princess) and went down to the lobby of my dorm to watch Conference with the girls on my floor. We had donuts and I had a cupcake. It was pretty awesome. Then I skyped my parents and opened their present to me. Then I went to my aunt and uncle's house for the second session of conference, and for my birthday dinner. I ate enchiladas, and beans, then we had red velvet cake and chocolate ice cream. It was pretty delicious. When I got back to my dorm, some of my friends and I ate some of the cake I had left over. Then we went to tunnel singing. Then we had more cake. (Which is perfectly acceptable on your birthday.) Then we sat in the cold, all huddled up, just being silly and crazy. It was a pretty awesome birthday!

Monday: On Monday, I had my classes and homework and blah blah blah... Later, we had FHE. We decided to play hide and seek in the Tanner Building. It was pretty fun, but there were a lot of other people playing too. So we kept getting mixed up with other groups, but it was still fun! After, I went to the Creamery with my roommate and bought some Poptarts. And then I know I did something else that night, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. (Oh those crazy college nights! :P)

Tuesday: Oh boy. Tuesday. Well, it started off great! I went to Book of Mormon and then our Homecoming Kickoff! The marching band played and I got to see the colorguard! When they walked out onto the floor, I yearned to be there with them. Then I saw them perform. And my mind changed. Maybe I was too spoiled to come from a high school with the most amazing colorguard ever in the history of the world, but they definitely did not impress me what-so-ever. Sad day. Oh well, the rest of the kickoff was awesome! And at the very end, a group sang and danced to Come So Far, which is from one of my favorite moves EVER! (Hairspray!) Then I went to lunch with some friends. Afterwards, I went to physics. Halfway through class, I realised I did not have my phone, but I knew I had it right before walking into class. After class I went looking around the whole building, I even went to the lost and found, but I could not find my phone. When I got home, there was a message on facebook from my dad saying that someone had called my aunt from my phone, and she told them to bring it to my dorm. Well, it wasn't until 11;30 that night that they finally brought me my phone. It was a long day. At least my friends helped me take my mind off of not having my phone. (Oh and I had a super embarrassing moment at dinner, but it was a "you had to be there" type of moment. It's a good thing I can laugh at myself!)

Wednesday: Well, I definitely had planned to post this yesterday, but it ended up being so long and I didn't have time to finish it. :P So, Wednesdays are my long days. Never my favorite. But yesterday wasn't too bad. After my classes, I went to dinner with some friends. (Where of course they kept bringing up my embarrassing moment. Haha!) Then, since it was visiting hours and boys are allowed in our rooms, we all went back and hung (hanged?) out in my friends' room. We blasted High school Musical and had a grand ol' time. Later, we went to Brain Break (which is like a snack/meal at 9:00) and then we went and played Hide and Seek in the Tanner Building (if you couldn't tell, we do that alot. At least in this past week.) It was a pretty fun day!

Ok, so now I will post some videos to make up for Youtube Tuesday! I don't know why, but I really like Mika. We listen to him in my sewing class sometimes, and I realized I really like him. I think it's probably because he is really weird. And I'm really weird, so I like really weird things. SO here are some really weird videos by the really weird Mika. Enjoy.

Youtube Tuesday Da-Ba-Dee Da-Ba-Di

So, you can't tell me you don't remember this song. I mean talk about childhood memories!

So, there is definitely a story behind why I chose this for Youtube Tuesday. Yesterday, a few of my friends and I had were hanging out and we were standing outside of the cannon center. We were just standing there talking when all of a sudden, these boys wearing blue morph suits, BYU hats, and boxers came around the corner. Of course my first instinct was to start singing "They're blue da-ba-dee da-ba-di..." This grabbed the attention of the blue people and they came over and started talking to us. One of them came up to me and told me how awesome it was that I had started singing that song, then he took off his hat, knelt down, and kissed my hand. I probably blushed, because its not every day you get kissed on the hand, let alone by a blue guy! And this is the closest thing to a romantic moment I have had here at BYU. (Isn't BYU supposed to be full of marriage-hungry, romantic guys? Yeah, I have yet to meet one of them.) And I don't even know who this blue guy is; they wouldn't tell us their identities.

So mystery blue dude, if somehow you are reading this, I would love to know who you are. Unless you are some sort of creepy pedophile, then nevermind.
(I guess him being a pedophile wouldn't matter since I'm 18, and not technically a child....)
(But that would still be creepy.)

Oh by the way, I hope you all remember my birthday! (5 days!!!) My birthday package from my parents came yesterday, so I have this wrapped package sitting on my top shelf staring at me, wispering "Open me! Open me!" SUNDAY PLEASE COME FASTER!!!!! I don't think I can contain myself much longer!

Youtube Tuesday and my Favortie Pick-up Lines

Last night, I was being bored and lazy and I decided to look up some pick-up lines. Some are pretty great, but others are just soooooooo lame! I also found this guy on Youtube that has a bunch of pick-up line videos! (Like over 20!) I think they are pretty hilarious! Here are just a few examples:

Those are just my personal favorites from his. Haha!

Ok, so now I need all of your help. I need to know all of your favorite pick-up lines! (Just because they are fun!) So please comment here, or on facebook, or text me, or call me, or email me, or use them on me, or whatever, I just want to come up with a huge list of the BEST pick-ups lines! Then I can post them to my blog for the whole world to see! So please let me know! :D

"If I asked you out, would your answer be the same as your answer to this question?"

*Holds out hand* "Could you hold this for me while I go for a walk?"

"Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number so call me maybe! ;)"

Youtube Tuesday and Stuff

Well today was a...day. Just a day. I realised half way to my first class that I had forgotten my phone, and new I wouldn't be going  back to my dorm room until way later in the afternoon, so I turned around and went back and got it. So, I ended up being late to class for the first time ever. (I was only like one minute late). Then I went to Forum to meet up with my friends...who weren't there. And they wouldn't answer my texts. Luckily I did find a few friends to sit with, but they were just as confused as to where everyone was. So, instead of going to lunch with all of my plans, like I had thought, I went back and got a sandwich from the vending machine in my lobby. It looked super scrumptious, but tasted gross. Then, after my next class, I had a meeting with my English teacher, but didn't write down her office number, so I basically wandered around the building for 20 minutes until I finally found her. Then, I had to take a test. It was my first test in the testing center. That didn't go as well as I thought it would. At least I got to meet up with some friends for dinner, and I went and bought a bunch of snacks (and by a bunch, I mean Salsa Verde Doritos, Poptarts, and Granola Bars). Yeah, not a very exciting day, to say the least...

So, to make up for the awesomeness my day lacked, here is this weeks video!

I hope the rest of the week is better than today. But with three classes and then work tomorrow, I'm guessing not....

Youtube Tuesday And Some Irony

Isn't it ironic that yesterday I changed from ballet flats into heels because they flats were hurting me, but the heels weren't? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? Haha, well my flats were pretty new, and they gave me blisters, but my heels were boots, so they didn't rub against the blisters. I also may have had another reason to be wearing heels... ;) But that is a story for another day!

My videos today are all completely random, but they are probably the three videos that make me laugh the hardest. And my friends too! I hope you enjoy them as much as me. :)

If you don't get nightmares from the last one, then you are seriously messed up! haha! I seriously crack up every single time I watch these videos. Every. Single. Time.

Youtube Tuesday and Other Random Things

Just some random thoughts.
1. My Physics class is super easy.
2. BYU is so much fun.
3. I may or may not be crushing on a guy. I'm not sure yet.
4. Campus at night is both scary and fun.
5. Do not follow me around campus, because I will probably take the long way to a building.
6. I'm surprisingly not homesick. I thought I would be, for sure, but I'm not.
7. One of the best things ever is having a stocked vending machine in the lobby for late night snacks.
8. I need to start using Sensa again.... I keep forgetting!
9. Friends are awesome, even when they don't save enough seats at Devotional.
10. I have "We are never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever...." stuck in my head.
11. I don't like Taylor Swift.
12. Or country music in general.
13. I don't know any other school where a group of student will meet up late at night under a bridge, and NOT drink or smoke or do anything illegal, but sing Hymns.
14. I think I call my mom every day.
15. My favorite number is 5. Just in case you wanted to know.

Well, I have more than one video this week, but they kinda go together. :) Enjoy!

Youtube Tuesday

Well, tonight is my last night in Gilbert, Arizona. Tomorrow night I will be in Vegas, and from then on, I will be in Provo. It's so weird to think about. I have lived in Arizona for over 18 years, and even though I could live without the heat, I don't think I can live without all of the amazing people here. The next few days will be the hardest of my life. :(
Everyone keeps saying "Oh, you are going to have so much fun! You will make so many new friends!"
Yes, I know I will have fun.
Yes, I know I will make new friends.
No, that does not make it any easier to leave my current friends.
(And no, I will not be getting married within a month of being up at BYU, despite what my friends think.)

So, here is today's Youtube Tuesday!

This is sooooo funny, and soooo true. (Well, I actually scream NOOOOOOO and change the station as quickly as possible when this song comes on, but close enough!) Haha, this always puts a smile on my face when I watch it! Haha, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Youtube Tuesday (Late, oops!)

So I forgot about Youtube Tuesday yesterday. and since my outfit today is very UNblogworthy, I'll just do it today. But first, some random things.

-My friend's blog from my last post does not have 300 followers, it has three, but it told me she had 300, I guess so I would follow it too. :P And three is still more than me.

-I went to Savers yesterday (shocker!) and found an AMAZING Betsey Johnson coat and dress. But uhm, Saver's, I don't want to pay $60 for anything at your store.... BUT today was 50% off of $50 for Savers club members, so I signed up and ran to Savers and waited for it to open and literally ran to the coat and dress (they came together). The dress was a little small (and not modest) so Betsy (friend, not designer, hahahahaha) paid for half of it and took the dress. So I got a Betsey Johnson coat for $15!!

-Thats all I guess....

Here's the video!

Isn't this the BEST song ever! I'm definitely using this pickup line to get boys in college!

It will work, right? Guys like girls who are completely un-original with their pick-up lines, right? ;)

Youtube Tuesday

Well, I wish I could tell you that I have been really busy this past week, and haven't had time to blog, but that isn't the case. My camera had no batteries, and I was just lazy. But I regret it, because I have had some amazingly blog-worthy outfits. I must tell you though, that I went to Savers 5 times in a period of 7 days. I think I need to go on a shopping fast, or I will be broke and unable to buy stuff like shampoo and deodorant for college. And I don't think my room mate would appreciate that very much....
So today, I am starting Youtube Tuesdays! (Which may or may not ever happen again, we will see.) I am going to share with you some of my all time favorite Youtube videos. This gives me something to post when I am too lazy to dress cute and take pictures. And with out further ado, I give you my first video:

Kid History

I love these videos so much! (There are a lot of them, but I posted my favorites.) The kids are cute, and they are super quoteable!! Heehee! So please take the time to watch every single one of them, not just the ones I posted. They are a great way to be entertained for a while! :)
