I like to create random situations in my head. Most of them involve meeting cute boys in line for Jamba Juice. They normally go a little something like this:
Cute Boy- Wow, there are so many to pick from, it's so hard!
Me- Yeah, I know! What's your favorite?
Cute Boy- I like (insert favorite smoothie here).
Me- That sounds good! I like Mango A-go-go.
Cute Boy- Yum! How about this, we order eachother's favorites and then if we don't like them we can just switch!
Me- Sounds good! I'm Kai, by the way, what's your name?
Cute Boy- (Insert boy name here.)
And blah blah blah, we get married and live happily ever after.
Yeah, pretty unrealistic situations. Or so I thought until today.
Today, I was standing in line at Jamba Juice when all of a sudden, a cute boy comes up behind me in line.
Cute Boy- Wow, there are so many to pick from, it's so hard!
Me- Yeah, I know! It is really hard to pick one.
Cute Boy- I usually just go back to my favorite. Carribean Passion every time.
Me- I like that or Mango A-Go-Go.
Cute Boy- Those are the good ones.
Me- Maybe I'll try (smoothie I forgot the name of).
Cute Boy- I tried that. I don't like it. It's too sweet.
Me- Oh, maybe I will try Orange A-Peel. You can't go wrong with orange, strawberry, and banana.
(After we order our smoothies)
Cute Boy- So you went with the Orange one?
Me- Yup, what about you?
Cute Boy- I got Berry Banana (or whatever...).
Me- Cool, that sounds good.
(Some time passes where we say nothing.)
Jamba Juice Worker- Kay! Kay your smoothie!
Me- (grabs my smoothie) They always say my name wrong. It's Kai, but they say Kay.
Cute Boy- Yeah, my name is (couldn't understand what he said) but they always say (couldn't understand what he said). Well have a good day!
Me- Thanks! You too! (Walks away.)
WHAT THE HECK?!?!?!? Why didn't I ask him his name earlier and keep up the conversation? What if I missed my chance with my soul mate? What if I was supposed to talk to him, but since I didn't, I am going to be punished with a life full of loneliness?
So, Cute Jamba Juice Boy, I hope I see you again. Maybe I will actually have the courage to talk to you about more than just smoothies. Maybe we can have Jamba Juice cater our wedding.... Ok that sounds a little creepy.
Ok, a lot creepy.
But I am kinda a creepy girl.
Oh, and I found out this weekend that I am a huge scaredy pants. My friends and I went to a Haunted Forest. It was my first Haunted anything (unless you count the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland...) and let's just say, it was a very fun but flipping scary experience. But, I only cried once during the whole thing! (Yes, that is a huge accomplishment.) It was during the part with the guy chasing us with a chainsaw. How stereotypical. I think it would be much better if there was a guy with a jackhammer or nail gun or something. Yeah, that would be better.

What's This?
This morning, (after I woke up late for class,) I looked out my window, and what did I see? (If you just sang "Popcorn Popping on the apricot tree", you get cool points. Lots of them.) White. I saw white stuff all over the ground. I got all giddy and got ready in my most wintry clothes and ran outside. (At this point, by the time I got to class, it would be over... This is my first time EVER EVER EVER missing a class....) But I went all crazy Arizona girl all over that snow. I took pictures, and then my camera died. Then I made snowballs and a snowman! (Ok so he is more like a snow barbie, but still.) I haven't seen snow since I was 8, and that was lame snow. (Ok so this was lame snow too, especially since most of it had already melted...) This has been an exciting day so far! :D
So, I am sure you are wondering how my media fast went. I will tell you day by day how it was.
Sunday:
This was the easiest day, probably because I didn't have a whole lot of time to miss media. I woke up for church with an actual alarm clock and not my phone alarm. That was weird. After church I went to eat lunch at the Cannon Center. When I came back, I took a nap until it was time for ward choir. Then our ward had a fireside. After the fireside was the worst part of Sunday. I had a few hours in between the fireside and tunnel singing, and I wasn't tired, so all I wanted to do was check Facebook and listen to music. Since I couldn't do those, I tried to figure out what else I could do. I ended up coloring a picture. In silence. I figured out how much I listen to music. Listening to music is almost a constant, 24/7 thing for me, so the silence was killing me. Luckily, it didn't last long, and soon I went to tunnel singing. After tunnel singing, I hung out with some friends. We stayed up pretty late talking, so I went straight to bed afterwards without even thinking of media.
Monday:
I woke up and got ready (in silence,) and headed off to my classes. Since I always take hand-written notes, that fact I couldn't use my laptop didn't bother me much. In my sewing class, we usually play music while we sew, but since I was on the media fast, my class didn't play music. After my classes, I was bored. I had done all of my homework on Saturday, before I started the media fast, so I couldn't do homework, and sitting in my room doing something was so boring since I couldn't listen to music. I ended up straightening my hair (which killed a whole hour of time), then I went down to the lobby to hem the skirt I made in my sewing class. I couldn't text my friends to see what time they were going to go to dinner, so I just went at 6:00, and luckily my friends ended up being there. After dinner we had a ward Halloween party, and then I hung out with friends. It wasn't hard to be without media until I had to get ready for bed. I couldn't check my facebook, or my email, or anything.
Tuesday:
I don't know why I was feeling so lazy Tuesday morning. I really just didn't want to get ready for class. When I finally did get ready, I realised I needed to leave for class or I would be late. Since I couldn't check the weather (like I usually do) I didn't know that it was supposed to rain until I got outside and saw the dark clouds. Since I spent so long straightening my hair the day before, I had to go back and get an umbrella, just in case. So I ended up being late for my class, which was cancelled anyways, so it didn't matter. I would have known my class was cancelled, if I could have chacked my email before class. So, since I wasn't in class, I decided I could meet up with my friends for devotional. Too bad I couldn't text them to find out where to meet them. Well I eventually found a friend who called my other friend to have him meet me for devotional. After devotional, and my last class of the day, my friend met me in my lobby so we could hang out and so I wouldn't die of boredom. It was fine until our other friend came, then they started looking at her computer and looking things up on the internet. I just sat there, unable to join in. I then went to dinner and after dinner, I went to work. Here is where my biggest problem with the media fast came. I clocked in and headed over to where the event was (I work for catering) and the doors to the building were locked. I walked all around the building and couldn't find anyone, so I headed back to the Wilk to see if they had finished early. There was only one person there, and she called the people I wass working with to find them. I had to go back to the event venue, only to see they had finished cleaning and all we had to do was go BACK to the Wilk and wash dishes. I had been called in early to work, but didn't get the message since I couldn't use my phone. After work I sat in my room waiting until midnight when I could turn on my phone and computer again.
Overall, the experience wasn't horrible. I learned how much I appreciate having media in my life. I also learned that my friends are pretty supportive and that they care about me.They would go out of their way to make sure I knew when they were going to places, and they helped me out whenever I needed. I must say the hardest part was definitely not listening to music. Since I am almost always listening to music, it was definitely strange to have silence in the background. I also learned that I should probably get a watch, because not knowing what time it is is definitely hard. It was a good experience to learn how truly dependent I am on media, but that it is possible for me to go without it. I would probably never willingly do this again, but if for some reason I have to do it, I know I can survive.
So, before the media fast happened, something pretty spectacular happened. I was walking back from helping my friend with his chemistry lab, when we saw a deer. A flipping deer on campus. Like holy crap! I never see deer in Gilbert! So we stopped and were taking pictures of it. I naturally start singing to it like Giselle in Enchanted. We keep taking pictures and I keep singing when all of the sudden 5 more deer come running out of nowhere! I felt like a Disney princess! :D It was sooo cool!!!
Speaking of Princesses, I started watching Once Upon a Time with my friends last week. It is really as good as everyone said it was. :)
Can I just tell you I love cold and snow? I really do. It was snowing while I walked to my physics class today. It melted almost as soon as it hit the ground, but it was pretty much awesome. But I have realised that I am definitely going to need to buy some winter essentials. My coat that I wore like three times a year in Arizona in the middle of winter in the middle of the night is barely warm enough here in Provo in the fall during the day. I also need to get me some cute gloves and cute beanie hats. And scarves. (I hate scarves, but I can see how they would be nice.)
So, since I missed Youtube Tuesday, I am going to make it up now. Here are some videos.

Goodbye...
So, I've decided to quit the blogging world....
JUST KIDDING!
Actually, at midnight, I am starting a media fast for a class. That means no phone, internet, computer, tv, or music for THREE DAYS. I think I am going to go crazy. So, if you desperately need to get a hlod of me, (and you live in utah) just come to my door. Seriously, check up on me and make sure I am still sane.
Honestly, the harded part will probably be no music.
I will tell you all about it when it's done.
Peace out! See ya in three days!!!
(And, an outfit post might be in the near future. Just saying.)

Youtube Tuesday And Other Stuff. Maybe. If I Can Think Of Anything To Write...
Uhm, I have really know idea what to write about today. Like seriously, no clue what so ever.
So I guess I will just tell you that today, I definitely had a solo dance party. I danced around my room to Disney songs. My window was open and I sang at the top of my lungs.
What do you mean it's not normal for a 19 year old girl to do that?
I guess I'm not normal then... But I think I figured that out a long time ago.
So, I am going to give you all the chance to have a solo dance party to disney music too. Here are some great Disney songs to sing and dance to. (And by dance, I mainly mean act out/interpretive dance).

Thoughtful Sunday
Random things on my mind today:
1. I am absolutely horrible at keeping my own secrets. I mean I post them on Internet for crying out loud. I guess my real problem is that way more of my friends read my blog than I thought.... Haha, oops.
2. I still love tunnel singing. It's quite possibly my favorite part of every Sunday.
3. I definitely felt like I stepped out of the 1950s today. I love it!
4. A guy at tunnel singing said he was going to New Zealand on his mission. Since no one I have heard of has been called to Australia, I will settle for New Zealand. So, random guy, I am warning you, if I am not married when you get back, I will have to marry you. Just so you know.
5. But I may not have to marry New Zealand guy, because my TA for my sewing class has a cousin or friend or someone who is on his mission in Australia right now. And he is coming home soon. And she said she would set me up with him. I let you know if anything happens! ;)
6. My friend is getting married next month, and I am really trying to find a ride down to AZ so I can see her! If anyone is willing to drive me the weekend of Nov 9, that would be fan-flipping-tastic. Or you could buy me a plane ticket, that would be even better. :)
7. After church, I went to lunch for three+ hours, then I took a three hour nap. I have had a rather productive day, if I do say so my self.
8. Blog writing is way more fun then peer editing papers. The ironic part, my groups' essays are on a blog post. Writing ABOUT a blog post and ACTUALLY writing a blog post are completely opposite.
9. I am crazy. Like Bat-crap-crazy. Seriously, what is wrong with me?
10. I sang in the ward choir at church today. We had a total of 3 rehearsals before performing, and I don't think we ever had the entire group at one of them. But I was told we were awesome, so that's good, right?
11. I bought new pants the other day. :) And a new shirt thing (I think its supposed to be a dress, but it is crazy short, so it's a shirt for me.) YAY NEW CLOTHES!
12. I may or may not ever post outfits on here again. I guess this has gone from being a fashion blog to being a "Let me spill my deepest, darkest secrets so everyone and there dog knows way more about me then the ever cared to" blog. So, sorry peeps. But hey, I am getting WAY more views now. Which I guess can be good and/or bad.
13. My brother blessed the Sacrament for the first time today AND I WASN'T THERE! >:(
14. My room is a disaster. Sorry, roommate. I will probably, maybe, possibly, clean it tomorrow. Or not.
15. I wish it rained more. Rain is always my favorite.
16. Last night, my roommate and I pretended to be Batman. Cuz we are cool.
17. Ok, you know how I always say I don't like super hero movies. Well, I liked the Dark Knight Rises. I'm not saying its my favorite movie, or that I now suddenly like super hero movies. Just the Dark Knight Rises. And I may or may not have a secret crush on Robin. ;)
18. ^ I just spilled another deep dark secret. Oh well, at least I know for a fact that Robin won't read my blog. :P
19. I will probably eat the entire can of Salt and Vinegar Pringles I am currently eating.
20. I met the weirdest guy the other day. He tried to tell me Australia and Africa didn't exist. Yeah, he was strange, but in a good way. I like weird.
21. Not only am I weird, but I am also very awkward. I think it is something that has happened because of college. I didn't used to be so awkward, but now I really enjoy saying super awkward things and making other people and myself feel awkward. Is it awkward that I like that?
22. This list is a lot longer than I had anticipated it to be.
23. Uhmm, well I guess this is all I have to say for today. Peace out SUCKAS!
24. I guess I'm not done. I just want to say, I find this post rather funny. I hope you all pick up on my subtle jokes and sarcasm. And by subtle, I mean completely blatant. Ok, now I am done.

Youtube Thursday Because I Forgot on Tuesday
So, this past week has been pretty crazy. I have oh so much to say today, so please, bear with me. (Or just skip down to the video, since that's probably the reason you are even reading this.)
Thursday: Honestly, I don't remember anything from Thursday. I do know we had Ward Prayer, and that's always fun! But, yeah, i guess Thursday wasn't crazy or exciting by any means....
Friday: Well, Friday, I had to work the football game. I like working, but Football games are always soooooooo long! I work about 9 hours every home football game. I also got a text from my friends that night saying they had an extra ticket for the Saturday afternoon session of conference and asked if I would like to go with them! (And I said yes, of course!)
Saturday: Ok, here is where it starts getting pretty darn crazy. Saturday was the beginning of General Conference. And Saturday morning, there was a pretty big announcement: Boys are now allowed to go on missions at age 18, and girls are allowed to serve missions at 19. HOLY COW. I went from having two years to think about going on a mission, to a day. This was a hugely huge shock for me. I had always said that if I wasn't married or in a relationship by the time I was old enough to go on a mission, I would think about it. Well, I sure as heck am not married or in any kind of relationship now. This is a big decision to make, and I know it won't happen over night. So my friends and I were in Salt Lake Saturday afternoon. I must say, seeing Conference in person is a whole different experience than watching in on TV. It was awesome! After Conference, we went to the City Creek Mall, which is the most beautiful mall ever, I think. It was so crowded though, so I would love to go back sometime when it is not swarmed with people. When I got back to Provo, my Uncle Casey brought me princess cupcakes for my birthday. I also hung out with some friends and we played Hide and Seek in the Tanner building. On our way back to our dorm (it was past midnight at this point), I would tell everyone I saw that it was my birthday! Then this crazy dude started throwing popcorn at us. He was pretty strange.... :P
Sunday: I woke up, put on my striped onesie pajamas and my tiara (because I was the birthday Princess) and went down to the lobby of my dorm to watch Conference with the girls on my floor. We had donuts and I had a cupcake. It was pretty awesome. Then I skyped my parents and opened their present to me. Then I went to my aunt and uncle's house for the second session of conference, and for my birthday dinner. I ate enchiladas, and beans, then we had red velvet cake and chocolate ice cream. It was pretty delicious. When I got back to my dorm, some of my friends and I ate some of the cake I had left over. Then we went to tunnel singing. Then we had more cake. (Which is perfectly acceptable on your birthday.) Then we sat in the cold, all huddled up, just being silly and crazy. It was a pretty awesome birthday!
Monday: On Monday, I had my classes and homework and blah blah blah... Later, we had FHE. We decided to play hide and seek in the Tanner Building. It was pretty fun, but there were a lot of other people playing too. So we kept getting mixed up with other groups, but it was still fun! After, I went to the Creamery with my roommate and bought some Poptarts. And then I know I did something else that night, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. (Oh those crazy college nights! :P)
Tuesday: Oh boy. Tuesday. Well, it started off great! I went to Book of Mormon and then our Homecoming Kickoff! The marching band played and I got to see the colorguard! When they walked out onto the floor, I yearned to be there with them. Then I saw them perform. And my mind changed. Maybe I was too spoiled to come from a high school with the most amazing colorguard ever in the history of the world, but they definitely did not impress me what-so-ever. Sad day. Oh well, the rest of the kickoff was awesome! And at the very end, a group sang and danced to Come So Far, which is from one of my favorite moves EVER! (Hairspray!) Then I went to lunch with some friends. Afterwards, I went to physics. Halfway through class, I realised I did not have my phone, but I knew I had it right before walking into class. After class I went looking around the whole building, I even went to the lost and found, but I could not find my phone. When I got home, there was a message on facebook from my dad saying that someone had called my aunt from my phone, and she told them to bring it to my dorm. Well, it wasn't until 11;30 that night that they finally brought me my phone. It was a long day. At least my friends helped me take my mind off of not having my phone. (Oh and I had a super embarrassing moment at dinner, but it was a "you had to be there" type of moment. It's a good thing I can laugh at myself!)
Wednesday: Well, I definitely had planned to post this yesterday, but it ended up being so long and I didn't have time to finish it. :P So, Wednesdays are my long days. Never my favorite. But yesterday wasn't too bad. After my classes, I went to dinner with some friends. (Where of course they kept bringing up my embarrassing moment. Haha!) Then, since it was visiting hours and boys are allowed in our rooms, we all went back and hung (hanged?) out in my friends' room. We blasted High school Musical and had a grand ol' time. Later, we went to Brain Break (which is like a snack/meal at 9:00) and then we went and played Hide and Seek in the Tanner Building (if you couldn't tell, we do that alot. At least in this past week.) It was a pretty fun day!
Ok, so now I will post some videos to make up for Youtube Tuesday! I don't know why, but I really like Mika. We listen to him in my sewing class sometimes, and I realized I really like him. I think it's probably because he is really weird. And I'm really weird, so I like really weird things. SO here are some really weird videos by the really weird Mika. Enjoy.
So You've Had a Bad Day...
My awful day started out last night. Remember how I said I get super jealous really easily? Well something happened last night that really, really bothered me. I won't go into details, but let's just say I couldn't fall asleep because I was worrying about the incident in my head, trying to figure out what it all meant. Since I could not fall asleep, I was tired all day today. So on top of being in a bad mood, I was tired. And I am no fun when I'm tired. I was wearing sweats with little make-up. I looked like crap, and I felt like crap. And it seemed like nothing was going right. I was done with the day by noon. After my last class got out (early, which was one of the only plus-side to this day so far) I called my mom to talk and ended up bawling and letting out every single little feeling I had. I felt lonely, and jealous, and not good enough for anyone here. After my bawl fest and pity-party, I decided it was time to turn my day around. After deciding this, my day almost instantly was better. I had dinner with friends, I watched to Presidential Debate (GO ROMNEY!) and I went to a walking dance party! I came home and skyped with my parents and I after I finish this blog post, I am going to watch Tangled.
When I decided to turn my day around, I made up a list for future me. It is a list of ways to make a crappy day better. Although this is a personal list, I feel there are some things on here that everyone can use. So, if you are ever having a bad day, read this and try some things out. They really do work. (For me at least.)
1. Call Mom. Vent to her, cry your eyes out. By the end you will be laughing and ready to have a better day.
2. Change out of sweats into a cute outfit. Freshen up your make-up. Put on your favorite perfume. If you look like crap, you will feel like crap.
3. Drink Dr. Pepper. This doctor can fix any problem.
4. Eat Chocolate. Lots of it. If it works for Harry Potter, it will work for you.
5. Watch Tangled or Big Bang Theory. They always always always make you smile.
6. Be Social. You can almost always act happy if you are with other people.
7. Stop thinking of the past. It's gone. You can't change it. Think of the future and how you can influence how it will be.
8. Belt out the Wicked soundtrack. Just do it. You know you want to.
9. Smile. Look in the mirror and smile. Don't do this while you are crying, because looking in the mirror while crying just makes you cry more. Stop crying, gain composure, and smile.
10. Read the scriptures and pray for comfort. Remember that the Savior loves you more than you can possilby comprehend. He felt every single feeling you are feeling. And more. He did this for YOU. He knows that what you are going through is though, but He can see the greatness you are capeable of. Trust in Him, and you will be comforted.
There are always going to be bad days. Life wouldn't be life without them. just work though them and know that it is only a small moment of time. Without bad days, we wouldn't be able to recognize the good ones.

Youtube Tuesday Da-Ba-Dee Da-Ba-Di
So, you can't tell me you don't remember this song. I mean talk about childhood memories!
So, there is definitely a story behind why I chose this for Youtube Tuesday. Yesterday, a few of my friends and I had were hanging out and we were standing outside of the cannon center. We were just standing there talking when all of a sudden, these boys wearing blue morph suits, BYU hats, and boxers came around the corner. Of course my first instinct was to start singing "They're blue da-ba-dee da-ba-di..." This grabbed the attention of the blue people and they came over and started talking to us. One of them came up to me and told me how awesome it was that I had started singing that song, then he took off his hat, knelt down, and kissed my hand. I probably blushed, because its not every day you get kissed on the hand, let alone by a blue guy! And this is the closest thing to a romantic moment I have had here at BYU. (Isn't BYU supposed to be full of marriage-hungry, romantic guys? Yeah, I have yet to meet one of them.) And I don't even know who this blue guy is; they wouldn't tell us their identities.
So mystery blue dude, if somehow you are reading this, I would love to know who you are. Unless you are some sort of creepy pedophile, then nevermind.
(I guess him being a pedophile wouldn't matter since I'm 18, and not technically a child....)
(But that would still be creepy.)
Oh by the way, I hope you all remember my birthday! (5 days!!!) My birthday package from my parents came yesterday, so I have this wrapped package sitting on my top shelf staring at me, wispering "Open me! Open me!" SUNDAY PLEASE COME FASTER!!!!! I don't think I can contain myself much longer!
