How Long Has it Been?

I don't know exactly, but it's been a long time.

Repeat: A LONG TIME.

Lots and lots has happened. Including, but not limited to:
-hiking the Y (for the very first time in my life)
-doing the Cotopaxi Questival (I might make a post about it later.)
-finishing my sophomore year at BYU
-auditioning for three different musicals (getting called back for none.)
-starting a summer program at work. (which is fun and exhausting)
-joining a band (look us up on facebook! Denya and the Belinda 3!)
-buying a bike. (my very own bike. My first bike since I was about 10. I love it.)
-surprising my mom on her birthday by driving to Arizona.
-losing my wallet
-going to the Draper aquarium. Twice.
-getting paid to go home for a week while my parents were on a cruise in Alaska
-road trippin' it down to St George with some friends to see the Little Mermaid. (it was incredible!)

Yeah, it's been fun!

So this semester was a heck of a lot better than Fall semester (school wise, at least). I enjoyed all of my classes. Two of my favorites were History of Creativity, and a communication design class. Both of them ended with a big project. My History of Creativity class project had to have something to do with the time period we were learning about (1500s-present day) and that was the only requirement really. We could do whatever we want. So I decided, for my project, to pretend that a girl my age from each decade starting in 1914 suddenly appeared in 2014 and only had my closet to pick out an outfit from. So I created 11 outfits using only my own clothes (no borrowing from friends!) and my roommate at the time took pictures for me. And then for my communications project, I formatted the pictures into a book using the design principles learned in class. Two birds with one stone! I had a lot of fun with this project, and I'm going to share the pictures with you now!

Man, this was a crazy fun project! I'm not gonna lie, I absolutely hate my 70s, 90s, and 2000s outfits soooo much. But they were the best I could come up with from my closet. At the very least, I got a bunch of Halloween costume ideas out of this, right? ;)

I'm not going to promise another post anytime soon, but maybe? Haha!

Anyway, bye!
