Youtube Tuesday "Facial Disgracial!"

So, on Friday, I went with my friends Haley and Tyler to the Kid History episode 10 premier! It was right here at BYU, and all of the Kid History people were there! We watched a couple of the other episodes, and they talked to us about how it got started and all that jazz. Throughout the whole thing, they showed sneak peeks of episode 10. After a while, it was finally time to show episode 10. And it was soooooo good!! :) I had so much fun! Unfortunately, the line to actually meet the cast afterwards was WAAAAY long, so Haley, Tyler and I left and got food then went and watched Pitch Perfect with some more of our friends.

(By the way, I definitely watched Pitch Perfect 5 times last week....)

So without further ado, Kid History Episode 10!

Isn't it just great? I LOVE it!!!

Well, it is definitely snowing outside, so I am drinking hot chocolate. :) Its especially good since  its dark hot chocolate.
Showing my school pride while drinking hot chocolate! ;)

It's Gotta be Fate. There is No Other Explanation.

What has got to be fate? Well, on Thursday last week, I went to Book of Mormon, like normal, and sat in my normal seat, and everything was just normal. Then my teacher asked a question. A boy sitting in the back raised his hand and answered. That is when I knew. I knew that I am going to marry that boy. It's inevitable. How did I know this? Because he had an Australian accent and started answering by saying "when I was on my mission...." An Australian RM in my non-RM Book of Mormon class? Uhm, I'm pretty sure that is God's way of telling me to marry him. Why else would he have been put in MY class? Me, the girl freakishly obsessed with Australian accents, who everyone says is going to be the first person in the group married. So, tomorrow, I am going to sit next to him, introduce myself, keep it cool. But probably what will happen is I will just chicken out and sit in my normal seat hoping he will talk again. Because I'm lame like that.

And if that doesn't work out, one of my home teachers is going to Australia on his mission. (He is going to end up with the COOLEST accent ever. He already has a cool combination of accents, so through Australian into the mix, and it will just get more awesome.)

So, at least I have options.

Kinda.

Not really.

I'm pathetic.

I Can't Come Up With A Creative Title For This....

So, this has been a pretty good weekend! I finally made my friends watch Pitch Perfect! And, of course, they liked it! I mean what's not to like? And I may be listening to the soundtrack on repeat.....

On Monday, my friends and I went to see our beautiful friend Julianne perform in the musical Side Show. It was a pretty funny show! Although, the theater was pretty lame. Haley and I had just about the most perfect seats! We were in the second row, the the seats in front of us were reserved for the actors (becasue they used them in a few of the scenes), so it was almost like having front row seats! It was cool!

Yesterday, I went to my Book of Mormon class and to the forum and to lunch with my friends. Then I went back to my room and took a shower and straightened my hair. I never ever straighten my hair, but I did! (It took an hour...) The only reason I straightened my hair was because I have my advertising class Tuesday nights, and there a a bunch of cute RMs in that class. Last night we were picking out groups for our big advertising project, and I didn't want to be stuck being the only person without a group and have to force my way into a group that didn't want me. Well, I found a group. And the group happens to be me, and 4 guys! SCORE! Haha! I'm pretty excited! I think three of them are RMs, so that just is an added bonus!
Me with my hair all straight!
Also last night, I got all my last minute homework done (including a lab I didn't know was due today!) and I watched a movie with my friend Haley for her Russian club. It was really bizzare, but pretty funny.

Today has been alright. In geology, we exploded soda. (In case you were wondering, Diet Dr. Pepper works just as well as Diet Coke. But use Coke, cuz who wants to waste Dr. Pepper?)

Well, that's all folks! Peace Out!

Grilled Cheese and Exploding Sprite

Before I get to what the title of this post is about, I want to tell you about last night. Well, last night, after dinner, Spencer and I went to go watch Once Upon a Time. (Yes, I know we are way late, since the new episode was Sunday, but holy crap it was soooo good! There hasn't been one that good in a while!) Well, after the episode, we were speculating what was going to happen, and it kinda turned into us talking about Henry's family tree and how messed up it is. Well, it was too much to talk about it, so we started drawing it out on a white board. We just continued, adding every fling we could think of, and then stared making up our own flings and relationships. Let's just say, we connected almost every Disney character into this "family tree". It was pretty much awesome. I always have so much fun hanging out with that kid. He is a riot.

Now to today! I had my first 8:00 class of my college career. I don't know howw on earth I ever went to class at 6:30 in high school. I had such a hard time getting up at 7:00! Well, I got all ready for the day and even had time to go to breakfast with my friends. We then walked to our classes. I had my Media Writing lab. It was fine. Not terribly exciting. My TA was kinda boring, but it was fine. I got my assingment done pretty quickly and I got to leave almost an hour early. So, I went back to my dorm and got my Book of Mormon reading done for today. Then I decided to eat before I went to Geology. I headed down to the creamery to get a grilled cheese sandwich to eat with my tomato soup. The grill wasn't quite open when I got there, so I waited for them to finish training the new worker. After taking my order, the new guy started making my sandwich. We talked a little bit (and may have flirted...) while he was making my sandwich. I wish I had talked to him more, but when it comes to intentionally flirting with someone, I get all nervous and freak out that they will think I am a wierdo. GAH, why can't I just flirt like a normal girl? I mean I flirt with guys I'm comfortable around, but when it comes to guys I don't know, I just get all shy and nervous. Grrrr, I need to get over that.

Well, afer eating my delicious sandwich, I went to Geology. We talked about volcanoes. Volcanoes are cool. At the end of class, we went outside to make a "volcano". Our professor said they normally use diet Coke with Mentos to make the volcano, but he didn't want to make a huge brown mess all over the snow, so he tried using diet Sprite. I have a video of the lame-ness that followed. Let's just say, he told us we would buy diet Coke and we would do it again next week.

Speaking of Mentos and Coke, here is a video of my friends and I from 2009:

It's golden. (And sideways...)

Anyways, I'm gonna curl up with some cherry limeade, a bendy straw, some Cool Ranch Doritos, and Finding Nemo now. Peace Out!

Well, The World Didn't End...

Well, the world didn't end in December. (Shock, huh?) But you definitely would not have been able to tell from my blog. If you judged whether the world ended solely based on my blog posts, then I can see why you would've thought it had ended. What can I say? I am a slacker.

Well, Christmas was fun! I got to go back to Arizona. Here are some highlights from the break:

- I went on an awkward blind date. This was after I asked a guy who couldn't go, and after my back-up canceled on me two hours before the date happened. So behold, I blind date. Luckily, my best friend was coming on the date too, so it wasn't so bad.

-Christmas was great, except for one present I got from Mother Nature. She sure sucks at giving gift, just saying. But I got a new phone! That's right, I now have a smart phone. Watch out world!

- I saw Pitch Perfect. Three times. It is pretty aca-awesome!

-I went on a non-blind date with my friend Jake. We doubled with Kourtney and Ammon. We had In-N-Out and watched Mirror Mirror. It was pretty awesome.

-I spent New Years Eve with Betsy and Kourtney at a huge dace party. It was pretty fun, but not the best New Years ever. (At least I didn't get kissed by a boy 3 years younger than me this time...)

-I also spent probably way too much time with Kourtney, Jake, and Betsy. Those three are pretty awesome.

Well, now I am back in Provo, and just finished my first week of classes. Here is what I think about them so far:

-Media Writing: Seems like it will be a pretty fun class, and not too difficult. Although, our first assignment is to write about why we love to write. And I hate writing. Uhmmmmmm....... :/ I don't know what to do about that....

-Geology: The professor is flippin hilarious! I think I will really enjoy that class. Even though its about rocks.

-American Heritage: Boring subject, but I think it will be pretty fun in general. And the guy I happened to sit next to in lecture is in my lab too, so that's pretty exciting.

-Book of Mormon: I have the same teacher as last semester, and I love him. He is awesome, and I'm excited for this semester.

-Intro to Advertising: I am pretty dang excited for this class. The Professor is awesome! We spent most of the first class just watching commercials. Awesome? Yeah! Oh, I I happened to sit next to the only two married guys in the entire class. Dang.

It is good to be back in Provo. I missed wearing a jacket in Arizona, and I missed SNOW. I love snow, oh so very much. But yeah, it is snowing now, and it is pretty cold. :)

Well, bye y'all. Talk to you later, maybe...

I feel like I am the worst fashion blogger in the world....
